Tiddalik at the riverside.
2009
Cane, bamboo, fabric
3mx3mx3m approx.
Tiddalik the frog was made as part of a collaboration between myself, and students from the schools surrounding the small community of Bruthen in Gippsland Australia. The story of Tiddalik belongs to the indigenous people of the area who were also involved in the project. Here, the puppet is in situ on the riverbank where the performance took place.
