This is my online store where you can buy my print works and have them sent anywhere in the world at no extra cost.
This blog is a place where I share ideas, experiences, reflections, plans, theories, schemes and speculations about art. It owes its title to a poem by Dorothy Porter. Birds (especially parrots and lorikeets) were a recurrent theme in her work. With their raucous voices and irreverent behaviour I often feel these birds are my kin. I am a visual artist practising mostly in the mediums of printmaking, sculpture and drawing and the blurry places between these mediums. My art is a conversation with the world and this blog is part of that conversation.
Atelierhaus Beisinghoff in Rhoden, Germany, is the studio of Barbara Beisinghoff, renown for her prints, artist books, and sculptural water-jet paper works. In July-August 2013 I was awarded a four week residency at the Atelierhaus by the Women's Studio Workshop NY.
Art at the Point is a gallery that represents Tasmanian and especially Bruny Island artists. My work is held by the gallery (as I have a studio on the island) and I have exhibited there in collaboration with sculptor/printmaker Marlene Schmidt.
This is the Wilurarra Creative website where you can find details of all the projects the arts centre is running as well as blogs, music, pictures and further documentation of my sculpture project.
